Sinopsis Drama Once Upon a Small Town (2022):
Han Ji Yool bekerja sebagai dokter hewan di Seoul. Suatu hari, dia menerima telepon dari kakeknya. Kakeknya tidak menyebutkan secara spesifik, tetapi suaranya terdengar serius. Han Ji Yool memutuskan untuk pergi ke Desa Heedong, tempat kakeknya tinggal dan menjalankan klinik hewan. Di sana, Han Ji Yool bertemu petugas polisi Ahn Ja Young. Ternyata kakeknya sebenarnya sedang tur Eropa. Menurut catatan yang ditinggalkan kakeknya, Han Ji Yool harus mengambil alih klinik hewan kakeknya selama setengah tahun, sementara kakeknya pergi.
Bahkan ketika Ahn Ja Young sedang mempersiapkan ujiannya untuk menjadi seorang polisi, dia ingin bekerja sebagai petugas polisi di Desa Heedong, tempat dia dibesarkan. Dia biasanya yang pertama muncul dan memberikan bantuan kepada warga yang membutuhkan. Dia membantu Han Ji Yool memecahkan ketidaknyamanan yang terkait dengan kehidupan sehari-harinya di desa dan mereka mengembangkan hubungan romantis.
